Introduction:

Amid the global COVID-19 pandemic, anxiety and fear are on the rise across the world. In this seminar, we will explore the experience of Mr. Jen Meckhayai, Executive Director of the Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce who was unfortunately tested positive for COVID -19. He will take us through his journey, starting from first symptoms, RT-PCR testing, hospitalization, and treatment at the hand of Bangkok Hospital. In fact, his journey intends to describe what actually happens in the process of COVID-19 care as a number of people might misunderstand due to wrong information obtained from invalid agents. From the Bangkok Hospital side, Dr. Nantanit Chiamcharoenvut (Internal Medicine physician) will further explain the medical processes involved. In addition, updated information in regard to COVID-19 vaccination in Thailand will be discussed by Dr. Pojnicha Mekaroonkamol (Internal Medicine physician).
