    Founder of Hellenika Cultured Creamery

Alex Apostolopoulos is the founder of Hellenika Cultured Creamery, a family run dairy brand located in the heart of Seattle’s Pike Place Market. Originally from Australia, Alex’s journey to the USA began when Yvonne Klein, a Vancouver-based flight attendant, started smuggling his family’s yogurt from Australia across the border. After co-founding and growing Ellenos, he separated in 2022 and launched Hellenika with his brother and sister, transforming their Pike Place shop into a test kitchen for what cultured dairy can be—small-batch, locally inspired, and always made the right way.
