Finland Australia Chamber of Commerce Inc. wishes to recognise the significant historical connection between Finland and Australia, dating back to the 18th century and the days of square-rigged sailing vessels roamed the high seas to lands far across the oceans in the name of scientific exploration and where the scientific teams consisted of various nationalities, collecting samples of flora/fauna, documenting biodiversity also for educational purposes.

With continued commitment to valuing our shared history and acknowledging the connection to the waters and lands we now live, learn, grow and work on, Finland Australia Chamber of Commerce​ kindly extends the invitation to join us at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia​ and help raise funds for training the future generation of youth sailors yet to roam the waters that unite us.

A number of live and silent auctions will be held on the night for a range of items, and money can't buy experiences.

Guest speakers will include John Bertrand AO​ and John Winning Jr​ from team Andoo Comanche, and we will be joined by the Academy's alumni.
