Kenneth Mackiewicz, PE and Steve Tarabokija, EIT of Provident Design Engineering will present the Traffic and Transportation Aspects of the American Dream Project. The American Dream Project is a 5,000,000 square foot mixed use entertainment, retail, hotel and office project located adjacent to MetLife Stadium on the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Property in Bergen County, New Jersey.
The Presentation will discuss various traffic issues and solutions for the Project including Mass Transit options, Traffic Signal Coordination, On-Site and Off-Site Roadway Improvements, On-Site and Off-Site Signage, and Parking. Other topics will include Transportation Network Companies, and Traffic Management during NFL Gameday and other events at the Complex.

Ken Mackiewicz, P.E. has been employed by Provident Design Engineering and its predecessor firms, TRC Engineers and Raymond Keyes Associates, since 1972. He is a Partner at the firm and has over 47 years of experience at Provident in Traffic Engineering on a variety of development, infrastructure and safety improvement projects. He has also represented numerous municipalities as well as various Counties and States. Mr. Mackiewicz is experienced in a variety of Traffic Engineering services encompassing Traffic Engineering Studies, Traffic Planning Studies, Traffic Signal Design, Traffic Calming Studies, Parking Studies and Environmental Impact Statements as well as providing construction services. Mr. Mackiewicz has served on various Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Committees. He has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College and an M.S. in Transportation Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York.
Steve Tarabokija, EIT has been employed by Provident Design Engineering and its predecessor firm, TRC Engineers, since 2004. He is an Assistant Project Engineer in the Traffic Engineering Department. He has a B.S. in Mathematics from Saint Thomas Aquinas College and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College. Mr. Tarabokija has more than fifteen years of experience in various aspects of transportation engineering as well as simulation analyses. Mr. Tarabokija has been working on the American Dream Project and its earlier versions since 2004.

Born out of a construction company, the team has spent years on job sites as Field Engineers, Project Managers, Superintendents and Surveyors - they know their way around a job-site and excel at large scale complex construction and infrastructure projects.
Enovate performs construction management services and has a research and technology division to address solutions that don’t currently exist for problems they saw in the field and experienced first hand. The in-house development team focuses on hardware and software solutions for technology applicable to your project and, with the knowledge that each effort is unique, the team operates accordingly. Also taken into account is the teams varied backgrounds which cover different industries allowing for a wider perspective. Additionally, Enovate provides on-site field services such as surveying and monitoring for both traditional and technologically advanced elements of projects.
In December 2017, Enovate packed up their stuff and headed over to the new headquarters in Cranford, NJ. Never forgetting their roots and the lessons learned on various job sites, Enovate likes to think of themselves as old school with new school flair.
