Caren Kelleher is the Founder & CEO of Gold Rush Vinyl, the record pressing plant of Austin, Texas, and a 100% woman-owned and -operated business. Named one of the "Most Innovative Companies of 2020" by Fast Company magazine, Gold Rush Vinyl is also the only manufacturer of genuine 24-karat gold and platinum albums for RIAA. Prior to starting Gold Rush Vinyl, Caren was Head of Music App Partnerships at Google Play, leading global relationships with Spotify, Shazam, Pandora and more. She was originally recruited to Google to launch Google Music and its products for independent musicians, after running business development at Songkick and Paste magazine. Caren holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is proud to serve as an officer of Recording Academy's Texas chapter. Her entrepreneurial journey has been featured by The TODAY Show, Billboard, Forbes, Variety and more. In January of 2025, Caren announced that she became the new Co-Owner of Waterloo Records, the beloved Austin record store.
