The ASEAN Dutch Chamber Network (ADCN) presents "Greentech Masters", an exclusive interview with a professional in the industry. Led by the Netherlands-Thai Chamber of Commerce, this webinar will be launched virtually for the first time on 7 February 2022. The global experts are going to share their views and experiences on the vital challenge in Southeast Asia. The audience can ask questions ahead of the Live interview.


In this first interview, we are lucky to have Godfrey Dol, a Principal for Equilibrium's Controlled Environment Foods team. Godfrey's experience in the glasshouse industry spans almost 4 decades. He has worked for a range of multinational conglomerates such as BayWa, The Costa Group, Village Farms, Rijk Zwaan, and smaller companies. His expertise is in designing, building, and managing large successful glasshouse facilities. He has owned and operated greenhouses and runs a consulting business. His glasshouse experience covers Europe, Asia, The Middle East, North America, and Australia.


Manuel Madani, Vice President of NTCC and Business Lead of the agritech company Priva, will be a moderator and lead this interactive interview session. If you are interested, don't be shy to sign up and prepare your questions because Godfrey will answer your questions LIVE!

Godfrey Dol was born, raised, and educated in the Netherlands. He obtained a degree in Chemistry and his first job was to set up a lab for soil and tissue testing in Saudi Arabia at a large farm that included glasshouses. After solving the farms' nutritional problems he was offered a job as a grower. 39 years later he has grown tomatoes in 9 different countries in very high-tech glasshouses in extreme climates.


In 2013 Godfrey was recognized for his work with the Costa Group by being awarded Farmer of the Year. In 2020 he advised the winning team of the Artificial Intelligence contest organized by the University of Wageningen. In 2021 he published a book; The Semi-Closed Glasshouse.
