GTCC Members Exclusive Site Visit to Häfele Distribution Centre

As part of the Häfele group, Häfele Thailand has been operating for 26 years in this country. In May 2020, Häfele celebrated the grand opening of the extension of its main Distribution Centre at Bangna-Trad Road, km22, as part of its sustainable growth strategy and long-term planning.

The extension features environmentally-friendly structures, such as a solar roof, improved insulation and a well-lit work environment. This modern warehouse was established based on consideration of energy savings such as, the effective use of LED lights and the successful installation of 964 solar panels on the roof that produce up to 320 kW at peak performance. Overall, it will be produced up to 478 megawatt-hours per year, resulting in electricity cost-savings of up to 2 million baht/year while reducing its carbon footprint of 467.2 tons/year.

Häfele is proud to contribute to reducing global warming as well as pollution, and is looking forward to receiving the Silver DGNB Award by the end of 2020 for this environmentally-friendly and sustainable project. As the successful leader of architectural hardware, furniture fittings, home appliances, sanitary products and electronic access systems and lighting by following German standards, the company currently has about 22,000 products stocked and readily available in Thailand alone. The 500 million baht investment in the extension will contribute to Häfele Thailand's steady growth together with its business partners and customers. It will also improve general performance, efficiency and service levels as well as serve as a regional hub for the Häfele group.

• The Site Visit is reserved for GTCC MEMBERS ONLY.
• Space is limited to 40 participants – 2 participants maximum from each company.
• Strictly no walk-ins policy is in place to facilitate proper space management and covid-19 safety measures implementation. Our online registration will be automatically closed when maximum capacity has been reached.
• This Site Visit will be followed by GTCC Stammtisch Bangkok @SIXTYFOUR.
