Chimwemwe Nyirenda is the co-founder and CEO of Africast Limited T/A Africast Conferences & Exhibitions based in Lusaka, Zambia. He hails from a software development background & Marketing, the latter being his recent career path which has seen him pioneering conference and exhibition innovations in Zambia and the SADC region. Although he doesn't code (software development) anymore, Event Technology is big at Africast as can be seen in most of their events. Chimwemwe Nyirenda received his education in 3 countries, worked in England and Zimbabwe before starting his own business in Zambia. He believes these 3 countries have shaped his work ethics and entrepreneurial skills. He is a strong believer in empowering those around him and the community. A decade after starting Africast Conferences & Exhibitions, he has been able to make a positive impact on the youth and his community, pushing performance improvement and delivering growth.
