Swim Route: Glencairn to Long Beach Simon's Town

*There will be an exit point at Long Beach at 3.2km, as well as the option to extend the distance to 4-5km with loops in Simon's Town.

Swimmers need to coordinate transport from Long Beach to the swim start at Glencairn.

Requirements

Swimmers must fulfill the following requirements to take part:

• Swim pace equal or faster than 3km/hr or 2:00min/100m
• Acclimatized to swimming in cold water for at least an hour
• Completed a 3km swim (training or event) in the last month
