Distance: Approx. 4km

Meeting Point: Windmill Beach parking lot at the end of Links Crescent, Simon's Town.

Swim Route: Miller's Point to Windmill Beach.

07h30 Meet at Windmill Beach parking lot, swim briefing, coordinate cars and drive through to Miller's Point.

08h00 Swim start at Miller's Point slipway.

09h30 Swim finish at Windmill Beach.

Swimmers need to coordinate transport from Windmill Beach to Miller's Point.

Requirements

Swimmers must fulfill the following requirements to take part:

• Swim pace equal or faster than 3km/hr or 2:00min/100m
• Acclimatized to swimming in cold water for at least an hour
• Completed a 3km swim (training or event) in the last month
