Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center

Nestled in the heart of Virginia’s Technology Corridor and adjacent to the Virginia Tech (VT) campus, the VTCRC is home to over 200 research, technology and support companies. Our 230-acre park is located in a beautiful mountain setting, with easy access to the metropolitan areas of northern Virginia and the nation’s capital. An expansion on the northwest side of the park provides enough land to construct 15 buildings in addition to the 36 single- and multi-tenant buildings currently on-site. The VTCRC employs over 3,300 employees.

Do you want to practice your public speaking and leadership skills in a fun and lively environment? The NRV Lunch Bunch is a Toastmasters club that believes skill building can be fun—and sometimes hysterically funny.

Meeting every Thursday at lunchtime at the Corporate Reseach Center (CRC) in Blacksburg, VA, the NRV Lunch Bunch embraces efficiency and fun, while following the self-paced Toastmaster Pathways curriculum.

Toastmasters International is an organization dedicated to improving communication and leadership skills. The program is affordable, self-paced, self-directed, and effective.

Members take turns running the meetings, delivering prepared and impromptu speeches, and giving valuable feedback—practicing the skills you need to move forward.
