Event Details

HDN believe that Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) requires an additional board-level focus to respond to the rapidly changing internal and external environment, learn from past failing and deliver change. Some boards have designated champions for EDI, and others have the subject as an area for the whole board to demonstrate responsibility. Where it works well an EDI Champion can help foster an inclusive boardroom culture, drive EDI initiatives, and enhance leadership effectiveness.

So how does a board show that it has oversight of EDI issues? How do we embed this into governance arrangements and assurance frameworks? And if you are a Board EDI champion in your organisation, how do you reduce the risk of getting bogged down in operational detail?

Join us in an interactive session to understand how to boards can lead on the EDI agenda, while also sharing your questions, experiences and learning from each other. Be part of the conversation shaping a more diverse and inclusive future in housing governance.
