Event Details

HDN is delighted to continue our new series of free, in-person events exclusively for members – Study Visits: Learning from Outside the Sector. Just as diversity within organisations ensures diversity of thoughts and ideas, diversity when it comes to sources of learning and sharing best practice can help ensure that your organisation's outlook is broad, and your initiatives stay fresh and relevant. Having kicked off in with two fantastic events with Adecco and an excellent visit to Auto Trader's head office in Manchester, we can announce that our fourth study visit will be down in Culham, Oxfordshire with the modular building specialists Agile Homes.

Members are invited to join us on 6th September at Agile's Centre for Low and Innovative Carbon Solutions (CLiCs) where we'll be learning about not only the environmental, but also social benefits of this approach to housebuilding- including when it comes to meeting the diverse (and potentially complex) needs of people who might come to occupy these homes, as well as the various ways Agile promote social value through their construction projects.

The day will run from 10.00am - 15.30pm and include lunch. Please be sure to inform us of any dietary requirements upon registration.

There are 30 places for the event, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. As such, we are initially limiting registrations to one person per organisation- we will confirm whether additional places can be offered to organisations in due course.

We especially recommend this visit to EDI leads, those working on asset management, board members, and anyone interested in looking at how the built environment can promote better relationships between people.

If you would like to attend, please request a place via the event registration link and we will be in touch.
