HDN is delighted to continue our new series of free, in-person events exclusively for members – Study Visits: Learning from Outside the Sector. Having kicked off in London and Manchester with two fantastic events at Adecco's offices, we are thrilled to return to Manchester to visit Auto Trader's head office.

We know that there has of course been an increased focus on much-needed equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives in the housing sector over the last three years. In the interests of maintaining momentum, continuously improving our practices and inspiring innovative approaches to this work, we wanted to provide an opportunity for members to learn from organisations outside of the housing sector.

The importance of this cannot be understated – just as diversity within organisations ensures diversity of thoughts and ideas, diversity when it comes to sources of learning and sharing best practice can help ensure that your organisation's outlook is broad, and your initiatives stay fresh and relevant.

Join us on Tuesday 6th February, where Auto Trader will host us for a packed agenda. Along with plenty of opportunity for networking and informal discussion about best practice or challenges, Helen Robinson (Diversity, Inclusion and Community Engagement Manager) will take you through:

• Embedding D&I into the culture of Auto Trader;
• Data - collecting it, using it, and what changes have come from it ;
• Creating and developing employee networks;
• Talent development and representation: looking at Auto Trader's two flagship programmes - Diverse Talent Accelerator Programme, and Inclusive Leadership Programme.

The day will run from 11am to 3pm and include lunch.
