Embark on an empowering journey with IAHD's Day at the Capitol program! Immerse yourself in the heart of Idaho's legislative process, where your voice matters. This specially crafted initiative invites passionate representatives from each highway district to join us in Boise for a unique and enriching experience.
Why Participate?
- Engage in Idaho's legislative process.
- Forge connections with state legislators who represent your highway district.
- Navigate important issues with legislators and peers.
- Strengthen relations with fellow highway professionals.
Who Should Attend?
- Anyone at the highway district who is interested in policy - commissioners, directors, supervisors, clerks, crew members, etc.
Included for All Attendees:
- Event packet and material
- Business cards
- Name badge
- Breakfast (complementary at the Hyatt Place)
- Lunch and dinner/evening reception on January 30
- Hotel reservations will be made by IAHD staff at the Hyatt Place
- IAHD will reimburse the cost of 1 room-night for 1 person, per highway district
Highway Districts are Responsible for:
- All travel costs
- Parking fees
- Additional food/beverage costs
- All remaining hotel room nights
