Michael graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Operations Research and has spent the next decade working in the worlds of sports and analytics. He started his career as a Data Analyst at the New York Mets and subsequently as a Data Analytics Manager at the Los Angeles Kings. Michael then received his MBA from London Business School, which was complemented by internships at Manchester United and Amazon. Currently, Michael is Director of Analytics at Oak View Group, where he oversees data and analytics operations for hundreds of sports and live entertainment venues, driving strategic insights and operational excellence.

IEOR No Show Policy

The IEOR Department invests a considerable amount of resources to host employer, alumni, social and related events to enhance your experience, knowledge and marketability. Many of these events have limited seating and we want our students to fully engage. After your second no-show without cancellation by the deadline, your invitation to all IEOR Departmental events will be suspended for one month and you will be in poor administrative standing. If you are a no-show to another event, you will obtain a second suspension and your invitation to all IEOR Departments will be suspended for the term with continued poor administrative standing. Students in poor administrative standing are not eligible for Departmental graduation awards and related nominations. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
