Event Details

Most patients are assessed by providers that are recommended based off of their health insurance. In 2020 when Covid-19 caused the US to transition to a "State of Emergency", this impacted not only those who were impoverished, but also those who weren't. As the numbers increase in Covid-19 there has been an increase on mental health diagnosis. As clinicians, social workers and individuals all around the world we were not prepared to handle Covid-19, but we can better prepare ourselves on how to work with individuals dealing with mental health issues related and unrelated to Covid-19 with an open mind and new way of thinking.
