Traditionally, our Patron (HSBC) makes an informal 'state-of-the-nation' address to BritCham members and guests at our AGM.

This year the June AGM has been postponed and this month will mark the moving on of PT Bank HSBC Indonesia President Director, Sumit Dutta.

Just days before he departs, Sumit has kindly agreed to maintain our tradition, virtually. He will share observations and experience built up over four years, take a look at a few of the COVID impacts and look forward to shifting priorities and opportunities.

Joining the panel is David Cheadle, Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield Indonesia, himself in his third decade of engagement in Indonesia and with an eye on one of business forecasters' barometers of what is to come, the challenged property sector.

And completing the panel, we welcome Amit Keswani, Chief Digital Officer of PT MAP Aktif Adiperkasa Tbk., probably Indonesia's best known retailer representing a mega portfolio of international brands and with prominence in all Malls. But now additionally embracing the consumers' new passion for e-Commerce.

This lead address and panel discussion will be insightful for businesses engaged in Indonesia and others around the greater region, also in the UK drawn to Indonesia's resilience and the opportunities it may offer for re-positioning and new trade relationships.
