Event Details

One of the three key strategies under the Saving the Lives of Healthcare Workers in the Philippines project is to establish a network of healthcare professionals who are exchanging information and best practices on COVID-19 Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) that can help in their respective practices. This can be achieved by rolling out and cascading training programs to various healthcare workers, trainers, and healthcare specialists to rapidly and sustainably scale-up the Philippines' COVID-19 preparedness and response. From there, a collective impact can be made throughout the country and across different levels in the national healthcare system.

This specific roll-out training covers (1) COVID-19 IPC, (2) Surveillance, and (3) Risk Communications & Messaging Development.
