    Ribin’s expertise includes banking and financial services law, real estate, capital markets transactions, insolvency and corporate restructuring and energy law. He advises local and international real estate developers on construction of residential and commercial spaces, buyers and sellers of both individual non – performing loans and NPL portfolios, including options analysis, standstill arrangements, debtor/creditor negotiations, restructurings, insolvency and realizations. He has also advised multiple lenders in complex financial arrangements and assisted with numerous lender due diligence assignments.

    Ribin is well well respected in the legal services industry. He was awarded the Young Lawyer of the Year Award in 2017 by the Law Society of Kenya, Nairobi Branch.

Further, she significantly enhanced Kenya's standing in the World Bank Ease of Doing Business – Getting Electricity Indicator, improving the ranking from 106 to 70 among 190 economies through strategic reforms.

    Grace, has implemented customer segmentation for new connection applicants, introducing two distinct categories: Standard and Premium Customers with an aim of enhancing service delivery.

    Grace’s career journey has been and continues to be characterized by a dedication to excellence and an unyielding commitment to driving significant and sustainable business growth.     Eng. Akech is the Executive Director of the National Construction Authority whose overall mandate is to oversee and coordinate the development in the construction industry.

    He previously served the Authority in the capacity of the General Manager for Research, Training and Capacity Building where his main role was to spearhead and provide leadership in the construction Industry on research, training and capacity building activities as well as consultancy and advisory services that promote its development, coordination and growth.

    He is a professional engineer registered with the Engineer’s Board of Kenya and a corporate member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya.

    He holds a Master’s degree in Construction Engineering and Management (CEM) and Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering (CE) both from Jomo Kenyatta University of
    Agriculture and Technology, Kenya.

    Eng. Akech has experience spanning over 22 years in design, construction supervision and management as well as leadership in the construction industry. He has worked on mega housing and civil engineering, infrastructure and telecommunications projects in various capacities with government as well as international and local companies.

    Some of the companies he has worked for prior to joining NCA include Safaricom Ltd, Gibb Africa and Howard Humphreys Consulting Engineers.
