"Simplyfing the Complexity" Implementing BIM for virtual design, construction and operations at Transit Agencies provided many challenges and rewards. This presentation reflects on the lessons learned from seven years of work ranging from initial explorations, development of best practices/standards and successful implementation of BIM program for these large-scale agencies. The LiRo team will present how they along with the agency BIM, Design and Engineering teams assessed current workflows then elaborated on them by leveraging the latest in digital twin technology. The presentation showcases how the use of emerging technologies such as Reality Capture combined with BIM could be a valuable tool in Design, Construction and Maintenance of facilities more efficiently.

We also have the pleasure of Eric C. Macfarlane, First Deputy Commissioner of New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC) to be our Keynote speaker of the evening followed by a presentation on The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Major redevelopment projects.
