ADAPTING TO COVID-19: A PARADIGM SHIFT IN TRANSPORTATION

COVID-19 has brought about an unprecedented change in transportation. In the span of a few short months, bustling metropolises came to a grinding halt as world governments sought to stem the spread of the coronavirus. Now eight months since the initial wave of shutdowns in the U.S., cities like New York City are moving towards the goal of gradually reopening, but what have we learned?

Mobility patterns and choices have undoubtedly changed as we adapted to new policies and regulations. How will this influence transportation planning and design practices in the future?

Please join our panel of experts: Ms. Diniece Mendes, Dr. Mohamad Talas, and Dr. Kaan Ozbay as they discuss the impacts of COVID-19 and the tools employed to address the new challenges facing transportation.
