Kidney Cancer has been on the rise in India since last many years. It is the sixteenth most common cancer in the world, ninth most common in men and fourth most common among women. These numbers are alarming and definitely call for some interventional actions.

Although, kidney cancer (also known as renal cancer) is one of the deadliest malignancies affecting humankind at a productive age group, awareness about the disease continues to be low. If not diagnosed early, renal cancer can cause widespread metastasis (when cancer cells spread to other parts of the body), thereby becoming incurable and fatal for the patient.

To sensitise the masses on early detection, Voice of Healthcare, in association with Pfizer, has organized a series of virtual discussions, issued in the interest of public awareness. Throughout these discussions, our experts shall touch upon the aspects such as "Early Diagnosis & Screening, Treatment Methods & Modernization in the medicine Landscape and a few interventions that can be taken up in the policy space, for the overall decrease in the incidence and mortality rate.
