Day 2 - August 26 - Etna Volcano and Taormina
- 4x4 Jeep excursion to Etna volcano
- Optional hike to the top of the crater
- Tasting lunch on the Etna slopes
- Walking tour of Taormina including the ancient amphitheater, palace and beautiful Belvedere Square
- Dinner at Kiste restaurant

Day 3 - August 27 - A Day by the Sea
- Sailing along the coast on a private boat
- Sicilian lunch on board

Day 4 - August 28 - Catania Foodie Tour
- Catania food tour with a food expert and delicious samples from vendors for our lunch
- Ape cars will take us to Ortiga island for a walking tour of the area
- Dinner at Macalle Sicilian Bistort

Day 5 - August 29 - UNESCO World Heritage Site - Noto
- Travel and tour the UNESCO World Heritage Site Noto known for its Baroque architecture
- Tasting lunch with a stop at the city's historical pastry shop
- Visit the most famous monument of the archaeological park, the Greek theater
- Dinner at the hotel
Overnight: Grand Hotel Ortigia – Syracuse
Day 6 - August 30 - Modica and Chocolate
- Tour of Modica in vintage 500 Fiat cars with famous Aztec chocolate tastings
- Free time at the hotel
- Dinner at the hotel followed by skygazing with an expert astronomer
Overnight: Eremo della Guibiliana
Day 7 - August 31 - Ragusa
- Walking tour of Ragusa which hosts more than 50 churches
- Lunch at Serfino a Mare Beach Club
- Free time to relax and explore
- Dinner on your own

Day 8 - September 1 - Agrigento and Temple Valley
- Travel to Agrigento and tour Temple Valley, one of the most important archaeological sites in the world
- Lunch at local restaurant
- Transfer to Verdura Resort for an afternoon to yourself
- Dinner at the hotel

Day 9 - September 2 - Vendura Resort
- Your morning is free to experience the resort's amenities like the spa and the Kyle Phillips designed and renovated golf course
- Dinner at the local restaurant

Day 10 - September 3 - Monreale
- Travel to Planeta Ulmo where the family will give us a tour
- Lunch and wine tasting
- Visit Monreale, an extraordinary example of Arab-Norman architecture and Byzantine mosaics

Day 11 - September 4 - Palermo
- Walking tour of Palermo with sights ranging from puppets to historic churches
- Local street food lunch
- Farewell dinner at historic Palazzo Alliata, one of Siciliy's most important historic residences, with a welcome from Princess Alliata

Registration includes:
All meals, except for one lunch, wine with dinner, all scheduled activities, ground transportation, hotel accommodations and tipping.
Not included in your registration fee:
Flights to and from Sicily, individual user-pay activities at resorts, one lunch during free time and additional alcohol.
CANCELLATION
• This event is not refundable for a cancelled reservation at any time. We encourage you to purchase travel insurance. You may sell your registration to another L3 member or candidate.
• Should a COVID surge prohibit travel either by the United States or Sicily, the trip will be rescheduled. Our destination management company has listed this in our contract but warns there may be an additional fee for non-refundable activities.
COVID POLICY
VACCINATION CARDS:
All travelers need to be fully vaccinated and boosted as recommended by the CDC and send a copy of their VAX Card to Tammy Hale prior to arrival.
EXCEPTIONS:
Members or candidates who have a medical condition that prohibits them from receiving the vaccines will be permitted to travel with L3. They must send written authorization from a physician and sign a waiver prior to travel.
NEGATIVE COVID TEST PRIOR TO ARRIVAL:
Travelers must test negative no more than three days prior to arrival. At-home test results are acceptable.
