We've also put together a lineup of the most talented and distinguished writers and historians Texas has ever produced. If you've read the works of H.W. Brands and Larry Wright, you know they're writers and historians without peers.
They're all going to share their insights with us.
We will even have a special musical performance from Austin native, Django Walker.

The Otis Hotel

The Otis Hotel is the educated choice in the heart of the bustling Campus District. The Otis believes life should be an adventure in elevated living by offering easygoing luxury. Boutique guest rooms feature nods to Austin's history as The Live Music Capital of the World and the neighboring university with in-room vinyl record players and many vintage schoolroom touches.
We have a block of rooms with a group rate. We will make your reservation for you and you will pay the hotel directly upon arrival.
All rooms are subject to availability. If your desired room is not available, you will be placed in the next available room type. We will notify you of that change.

L3 Foundation, a 501c3 charitable nonprofit, will make donations to nonprofits in the Austin area as a result of this event. We estimate that approximately $800 or more may be tax deductible if your tax professional advises it. Registrants will receive a tax receipt listing the fair market value of this event after the trip is completed.
Registration fee includes: All activities and meals starting with dinner on Monday, February 26 through dinner on Wednesday, February 28.
Not included: Airfare, transportation to and from the airport, and hotel accommodations.

Plan to fly into the Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). On Monday, February 26 in time for our 5:30 p.m. reception at the Merediths.
