To celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of HM Queen Elizabeth II, the Phnom Penh Symphony Orchestra, along with Charles Rice (English National Opera), Northbridge Middle School Choir and the Phnom Penh International Institute of Arts and Royal University of Fine Arts choir are looking forward to bringing you a traditional concert that occurs every year in the Royal Albert Hall in London, UK.
It is the final concert of the annual Proms season and it traditionally features British music from some of the great British composers as well as other selected music.
This year in Phnom Penh, as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations we are to bring you a quintessential British programme from greats such as Elgar, Vaughan Williams, Handel, and Parry. The programme will also include some Beethoven and Grieg as it is also a tradition to include music not just from the UK.
The orchestra is to be led by Alyssa Chong, and conducted by Ross Clarke.
So sit back, relax and enjoy a trip to the United Kingdom here, in Phnom Penh.
