Independent Labour law and Employee Relations Practitioner at Partum IR & Mediation Jacolien completed her the B.Proc degree at the University of Pretoria in 1999. In 2001 she completed an LLB and her articles at Weavind & Weavind Attorneys. She was admitted as an attorney in May 2001 and in June of the same year she obtained the right to appear in the High Court. She completed her LLM in 2007 with a focus on Human Rights and Constitutional Law. Jacolien commenced work at the National Intelligence Agency in 2003 as a Counter Intelligence Investigator. During this period she completed a certificate in Competitive Inteligence at the University of Pretoria in 2004, Cum Laude. Jacolien started focussing more on Labour and Industiral relations when she joined Bathopele Talent Factory in 2009. She joined Pronto Siyakhula Personell Services where she was responsible for all the Labour & IR related services. Jacolien obtained extensive experience in the labor broking industry. Whilst with Pronto Siyakhula Personell Services Jacolien established a client porfolio spanning over various industries and sectors with both national and internation clients. Jacolien represented Nova Human Capital and Delvenco Management Services for the past 6 years on a regular basis at the CCMA and Bargaining councils in the Western Cape. Most recently Jacolien qualified and obtained accreditation as a civil & commercial mediator. Jacolien joined our team in September 2020 and is responsible for all the IR and Labour related services for Nova Human Capital in the Western Cape Area.
