Event Details
ACT guides individuals to change their expectations from the elimination of pain to living as well as possible with pain.
This 4hr workshop is an experiential introduction to ACT for clinicians who care for people living with pain.
We will visit some of the concepts that can be integrated into consultations. We will focus on what distracts us and our patients from living fully in the here and now and consider the value of defusion, validation, mindfulness and re-connection with values.
