Our move to a larger space in Hudson affords us to dream bigger! Here is our current wishlist:
Epson Expression 12000XL Graphic Arts Scanner: This would enable our members (mainly artists) to scan in large artwork into the digital space. It will help our anthology process, as well as help all of our illustrators!
Upgraded presentation suite for our main room. A great projector, a mic, a camera, and a tech set-up so we can effortlessly zoom our workshops!
A podcast booth: This would help any author or illustrator who wants to record things in a soundproof space. Voice actors could use it to record audiobooks and podcasters could record there. We're still looking at whether we'd buy a pre-made booth or hire a contractor to create it. If you know of a good brand of soundproof booth, let us know!
A kind emailer! Someone to answer the Writers' Loft email account and forward questions to the appropriate board members! We would have a one-month trial and then we'd be happy to gift you a Gold membership if you are the person for the job!
A social media guru: You actually don't have to know a ton about social media to do this job. Here's the gist:
Grab our posters for our events and post them to our public Facebook page, our private Facebook group, our Insta account, our Twitter, and generally spread the word about our events in a fun way! We'd have a one-month trial period, and then we're happy to gift you a Gold membership if you are good at this!
