On March 23, 2023, President Marcos appointed Tereso O. Panga as the new Director General of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).

With a career spanning 24 years under PEZA, Mr. Panga rose from the ranks as formerly the Division Chief of Policy Planning (2000), Zone Manager of Lima Technology Center and other Ecozones in Batangas (2002), and Zone Administrator of Baguio City Economic Zone (2004) and Cavite Economic Zone (2008), and the Deputy Director General for Policy and Planning since 2010.

A Career Executive Service (CES) eligible since 2002, Mr. Panga is PEZA’s lead manager for policy and planning, ecozone development, digital transformation, special projects and programs, management information systems, building and environmental code compliance, energy efficiency and other eco-industrial initiatives.

Mr. Panga obtained his BA Comparative Literature (1991) and MA Industrial Relations (2000) from the University of the Philippines – Diliman. He also completed an executive course on Urban, Industrial and Environmental Management at the National University of Singapore (2009), and participated in the 3rd Temasek Leaders in Economic Development Programme for Senior Public Officials at the Civil Service College in Singapore (2016).

Anthony Frangos serves as the General Manager and President of adidas Philippines. He has over 20 years of commercial business experience leading businesses across the Asia Pacific region. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and a Master of Business from the Melbourne Business School.

He is an avid sports romantic, having competitively played multiple sports over the years. He has coached youth football and currently participates in running and triathlon events across the Philippines, speckled with the occasional game of social football and cricket.

Marla drives the execution of the BDO Sustainable Finance Framework and Strategies with oversight on policy formulations and program implementation across the BDO Group. She produces the annual BDO Sustainability Report and works closely with business groups and subsidiaries as a subject matter expert and advisor, to ensure the Bank’s alignment of its policies and practices with global standards, frameworks, and regulations on sustainability reporting.

She collaborates with external partners on strategic projects that advance positive environmental and social impact in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. She is also responsible for communicating sustainability initiatives to internal and external stakeholders and represents BDO in external speaking engagements and forums.

Before joining BDO, Marla was the Global Diversity and Inclusion Lead for news and information services provider Thomson Reuters, where she spent 11 years leading the execution of global strategies in diversity and inclusion, social impact, corporate responsibility, and corporate communications. Previously, she held senior corporate communication roles at tech firm Intel Corporation in Asia; food and beverage group San Miguel Corporation; architecture, engineering, and construction company Environments Global; and public relations firm Orendain & Associates.

Marla is an experienced international speaker on sustainability, gender, diversity, and inclusion, and a certified facilitator of the Google #IamRemarkable workshop for women. She is a former Board member of the International Association of Business Communicators - Philippines. She took up a BA in Communication with a major in Journalism at the University of the Philippines, Diliman.

After finishing law school, Mr. Gebhardt started his career with GIZ in 1999 and has since held various positions in Germany, Mongolia, China, India, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and Korea. Since 2022, he has been the Country Director for the Philippines and Pacific Islands. Mr. Gebhardt is also a licensed lawyer and has extensive experience teaching others about labor law, comparative law, and the rule of law through publications, lectures, and seminars.

Dr. Klebs was appointed as Economic Counsellor of the Embassy in August 2022. Before his time in the Philippines, he served as Legal Counsellor and Agent of Germany to the European Court of Justice, litigating many cases of economic, trade, IT and labour law. Before, he served as Judge in civil matters in Munich, and as a member of a Munich district council. He is socially engaged in the church in Germany, focussing on interreligious dialogues, as well as is assisting university education on matters of international commercial law and dispute resolution.

From 2016 – 2019 she was the Head of the Division of Humanitarian Assistance and Humanitarian Demining (Operations) at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin. The Division is part of the Directorate General for Humanitarian Assistance, Crisis Prevention, Stabilization and Post-Conflict reconstruction. She has dealt with humanitarian assistance since 2012, when she became Deputy Head of this division (2012-2016).

Anke Reiffenstuel has worked in the diplomatic service since 1993; her postings included the German embassies in London, New Delhi, Cairo and Manila.

Ma. Cherryl L. Posadas is the Committee Secretary of the Committee on Sustainable Development Goals of the House of Representatives. She has worked with the House for over twenty (20) years and was involved in several other committees, among them the Committee on Government Enterprises, the Committee on Oversight, and the Committee on Mindanao Affairs. Prior to her work in government, Ms. Posadas worked in finance and was a market analyst at several stock brokerage houses in the 1990s. Ms. Posadas also spent several years in development work, working with non-government organizations in implementing socio-economic projects among marginalized farmers.

Ms. Posadas is a graduate of Business Economics at the University of the Philippines School of Economics (UPSE). She took her Masters in Economics at the Ateneo de Manila University.

Jules is a lawyer. He is experienced in international tax – inbound and outbound investments. He has advised local and foreign clients on various tax (national and local) issues, including tax implications of proposed transactions; structuring of cross-border transactions for tax efficiency and cost minimization; contract review and interpretation; corporate restructuring; application and interpretation of tax treaty provisions; corporate tax planning; and family wealth planning and local taxation. He has represented clients in tax assessments and claims for refunds in the Bureau of Internal Revenue and has prepared position papers on tax-related industry issues and on various pending tax bills.

He is the Chairman of the Taxes and Tariffs Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines. He is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.

Jules earned his Master of Laws degree from Harvard Law School and earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo Law School (silver medal for academic excellence). He is also a graduate of the Harvard Tax Concentration Program. He graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. Gino is the Head of Market Management for Allianz Asia Pacific. He is responsible for the further growth of the Allianz brand in the region as well as Digital Marketing and True Customer Centricity initiatives.

Gino has worked for 8 countries within the Allianz Group and most recently was the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for Allianz Partners in Canada, where he also completed his Masters in Business Administration. An avid sports fan, Gino is a passionate supporter of Arsenal Football Club, his hometown Toronto Raptors, and the Ateneo Blue Eagles from his alma mater.
