Description: The speakers will describe a range of barriers to healthcare access for people with intellectual disabilities and provide solutions for healthcare providers to consider. Additionally, the speakers will discuss the overall benefits of inclusive healthcare for athletes and how life-changing this care can be. Participants of this course will also hear from a Special Olympics athlete about their perceptions of healthcare and suggestions on how to be a more inclusive provider.

Title: Neurodiversity and the Changing State of the Autism Field
Description: The speaker will describe the range of neurodiversity disorders in the field of autism and cover the basic clinical features. The concept and evaluation of autism is ever changing. Participants will learn more about social work and the new changes in the field of autism.

In the past decade the profession of audiology has seen the rise of post-graduate specialized training programs in the field of audiology. This panel discussion will include audiologists who developed or participated in audiology fellowship programs. The panel will represent fellowship programs that represent pediatrics/CI, vestibular, diversity equity and inclusion (DEI), and intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring. This session will include background on the impetus for developing post-graduate training, a brief overview of the represented fellowships, and a discussion session on the role of fellowship programs will have in the training of audiologists moving forward.
