Supporting Children and Families through Local School-Community Partnerships: First 10 Innovations in Maine and Other States

How can states best support local school-community collaboration focused on improving outcomes for young children and their families? Join NASLEE on September 11 to learn how communities in six states are developing First 10 partnerships. First 10 engages elementary schools, districts, early childhood programs, and community agencies in building systems of support for children and families. State leaders from Maine will share their distinctive approach to implementing First 10 and some of the successes they are seeing in their communities. We will also learn how the First 10 model has developed and grown over the past several years.
