The Austin Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction's February Meeting is on Wednesday, February 5th at 5:30pm at Hensel Phelps Office at 8326 Cross Park Drive Austin, TX 78754.


Join us for "Why Geology Matters" a presentation by MLA Geotechnical - focused on the various geologies and soils in the Austin and surrounding North Central Texas areas. Austin is one of the top five cities in the US with the most challenging soils. Tim Weston, P.E., president provides excellent illustrations of brightly colored strata, geology maps and their development, demonstrates with actual rock / soil samples and noteworthy case studies that convey the importance of geotechnical investigations.

NAWIC Needs Volunteers for 2020 UT Girl Day


The Women in Engineering Program (WEP) at UT Austin is gearing up for Girl Day 2020 and we are looking forward to having National Association of Women in Construction - Austin Chapter involved. Thanks for your fabulous support in this important event to engage over 8,000 elementary and middle school girls in STEM.


We are in need of 15-20 Volunteers February 22, 2020 11:30 to 5pm (will need to arrive earlier to set up) Will have more details later on arrival time, maps, and parking. You can sign up to volunteer here.
