Siah Hwee Ang Director of Southeast Asia CAPE Professor Siah Hwee Ang is the Director of the New Zealand’s Southeast Asia Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence. He is also Professor of International Business and Strategy and the inaugural Chair in Business in Asia at Victoria University of Wellington. In these roles, Siah works closely with various stakeholders and companies on their strategies in Asia and Asia’s engagement in New Zealand. Beyond publishing in international top journals and an expert in strategy, competition and international business, Siah is Senior Editor of Strategy, Institutions and Research Design of the Journal of World Business, a leading international business journal, and sits on various editorial boards of international top tier journals over the years. In New Zealand, Siah sits on the national assessment panels for New Zealand Prime Minister’s Scholarships for Asia, Prime Minister’s Business Scholarships, and Marsden Fund. Before joining Victoria University of Wellington, Siah was Professor in Strategy and Associate Dean Postgraduate and International (Asia) at the University of Auckland Business School, a research fellow at Cass Business School, City University in London and the National University of Singapore, where he completed his PhD in Management. Siah is Visiting Professor to a few Asian universities. He writes frequently in the media.

Eva Maureen SG Claravall Group Head at Kantar, Philippines Eva Claravall is the Customer Experience (CX) practice lead in the Philippines with actual practice in sectors of Finance and Telecommunication covering full breadth of the practice – from customer journey mapping, transactional satisfaction, customer and employee relationships. She also provides consultative roles to companies running full Customer Experience Management programmes. On top of this, Eva plays a key role in building and maintaining client partnerships in Kantar Philippines. Eva can already look back on a long career as a market research professional with over 20 years of experience in the field working on various industries in both a local and regional capacity. In the last decade, her focus was on content and technology related researches, founded on strong fundamental human understanding, before later narrowing her focus to studies about the connected consumers and how they navigate the digital lifestyle. She joined Kantar in 2014 and acted as the local lead for Kantar’s foray into understanding the digital customer through the Connected Life Study. Prior to joining Kantar, Eva spent a number of years with other research agencies on both local and regional (APAC) roles, Colgate-Palmolive Philippines, and ABS-CBN Corporation.

Pam Dunn Ambassador to ASEAN at Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Pam Dunn became New Zealand’s second dedicated Ambassador to ASEAN, based in Jakarta, in March 2018. Pam is a career diplomat with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. She was posted to Beijing twice as First Secretary and then again as Deputy Head of Mission in the New Zealand Embassy to China, and Shanghai as New Zealand Consul-General. She has also had three short term assignments overseas: Bangkok, Beijing, and Kuala Lumpur. In Wellington, Pam has worked in both North Asia Division and South East Asia Division. In 2016 she was in the Office of the Chief Executive working on Asia issues. In 2017 she was seconded as Senior Private Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Pam is from Wellington. She studied at Victoria University and Beijing Normal University. She speaks Chinese and is learning Indonesian.

Kevin Fitzgerald Managing Director, Asia of Xero evin Fitzgerald is the Managing Director, Asia at Xero, where he leads the growth and performance of the Asian business, spending his time between Singapore and Hong Kong offices. Kevin and his team help small businesses and their advisors across Asia embrace cloud technology to run productive, more profitable businesses. Originally from Ireland, Kevin moved to Australia in 2011 and led the Financial Services Recruitment Business for Robert Walters in Melbourne. Previously Kevin has worked with KPMG, Royal Bank of Canada and State Street Bank in Audit, Financial Reporting and Hedge Funds. His career in Xero began in 2015 where he led the Australian sales team as Territory Manager, and developed a deep well of experience in working with SMEs, working tirelessly with his team at Xero and Xero Partners to help SMEs grow.

Dr. Yuanindita Ingardya Victoria University of Wellington Dr. Yuanindita Ingardya (Ardya) is a Teaching Fellow at the School of Marketing and International Business, Victoria University of Wellington (VUW). She holds a PhD in Marketing for VUW and a Masters in Finance and Accounting from Macquarie University, Australia. She shows a strong passion in branding across all her teaching areas at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels; including Marketing Management, Contemporary Marketing, Consumer Behaviour and Pricing Management. Before joining VUW, she worked with Kantar Millward Brown as a Senior Research Executive in Jakarta, Indonesia. During her time with the agency she worked with clients across the telecommunication, personal care, beverages, and household/homecare industries – providing consultations in brand strategy, advertising development and optimisation and media effectiveness. On the side, she is also an avid yoga instructor. Currently, she is the Marketing Manager of a local Hot Yoga brand in Wellington, guiding it to flourish in the ever-popular health and wellness industry.

Lance Little CEO APAC of Roche Lance Little became the Managing Director, Region Asia Pacific for Roche Diagnostics in 2012. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director of Roche Diagnostics India (including the Indian sub-region). His experience as Managing Director extends to both Roche Diagnostics Thailand and Roche Diagnostics New Zealand. Lance joined Roche in New Zealand in 1995 in the technical support and management division of Boehringer Mannheim’s Clinical Chemistry portfolio, before moving on to sales and marketing roles. He was appointed Managing Director of Roche Diagnostics Thailand in 2008 before returning to New Zealand to take up the role of Managing Director in 2009. Lance started his career as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, specializing in Biochemistry at Auckland Hospital Laboratory in New Zealand. Following that, he spent some time managing the Automation Laboratory at Diagnostic Laboratories in Auckland.

Rob Julian Head of Asia at Datacom International Rob has lived in Kuala Lumpur for one year working for Datacom at Head of Asia and Vice President Delivery and Operations for Datacom’s Northern Hemisphere businesses. Rob has worked internationally in the fields of information technology and telecommunications, financial services and media with strong leadership experience in operations, sales, marketing, planning and executive roles as well as servicing as company director for a number of organisations. Rob is passionate about strategic planning and execution and the relationship between organisation leadership and successful embedded change projects. He has substantial experience in operational change management. He has two adult sons studying at University in New Zealand and is keen cook. Campbell Wilson CEO of Scoot Mr Campbell Wilson is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Scoot, the wholly owned low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines (SIA). Mr Wilson joined SIA in April 1996 and was previously the founding CEO of Scoot between 2011 to 2016, before the airline merged with Tigerair. Prior to his current role, Mr Wilson was the Senior Vice-President Sales & Marketing of SIA, where he oversaw Pricing, Distribution, eCommerce, Merchandising, Brand & Marketing, Global Sales and the airline’s overseas offices. During his career with SIA, Mr Wilson has held positions overseas and in the head office. He started off as a Management Trainee in New Zealand in 1996, was posted to Australia in 1999 as Regional Marketing Manager South West Pacific, then to the Singapore head office in 2003, where he held Revenue Management and Network Planning roles. Following that, Mr Wilson was appointed Vice-President Canada in 2006, General Manager Hong Kong in 2008 and General Manager Japan in 2010, before returning to Singapore in 2011 to set up Scoot. Born and raised in Christchurch, New Zealand, Mr Wilson holds a Master of Commerce (1st Class Honours) in Business Administration from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.
