'Promising Practices Panels' are a series of sessions in which selected panelists will share and discuss their achievements, each panel focusing on a variety of topics that are essential to effective capacity building to advance equitable opportunities for health. This session will focus on Strategic Partnerships from statewide, regional, and local perspectives. We have three panelists who will share their successes and lessons learned in strategically leveraging partnerships: Mary Wilson, Co-Founder and Chief Everything Officer of Ubuntu Community Catalyst; Armand Turner, Deputy Program Manager, Healthy Savannah; and Dr.
Bambie Hayes-Brown, President and CEO of Georgia Advancing Communities Together, Inc. (Georgia ACT). By attending this session, you will learn how and why these organizations are leveraging partnerships to achieve their goals, get practical advice for starting and sustaining your own partnerships, and pose your partnership questions to the panel.
