    BOT Liaison and Director of Public Policy Events at University of West Florida

    Anna Lochas is an accomplished event planner with extensive experience in designing and executing a wide range of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale conferences and community programs. She holds a Master of Science in Event Leadership from the University of Central Florida and is highly credentialed with certifications such as Virtual Event and Meeting Management (VEMM), Pandemic Meeting and Event Design (PMED), and Technical Meeting and Event Production (TMEP) from the Event Leadership Institute. Additionally, Anna is a Certified Program Planner through the LERN Institute and a Digital Event Strategist (DES) certified by the Professional Convention Management Association.

    As the creator and coordinator of the Certificate in Event Planning program at the University of West Florida, Anna has developed and facilitated multiple courses to provide professional development for faculty and staff. She has also shared her expertise as a presenter at numerous conferences and seminars, delivering workshops on event planning best practices.

    Anna’s diverse experience includes coordinating a variety of programs and events, serving as an Event Technologist for virtual events, and assisting with high-profile conferences. Her ability to manage both in-person and virtual events demonstrates her adaptability and deep knowledge of the evolving event planning industry.
