Last year, on June 23, 2022, Pride PH mounted the first-ever Pride Festival, in partnership with the Quezon City Government, at the Quezon Memorial Circle. It was a full day of LGBTQIA+ Pride, attended by 25,000 people from all walks of life – proud LGBTQIA individuals, allies, multinational companies, local businesses, media organizations, government agencies, and the like. We also had simultaneous celebrations in Baguio City, Quirino Province, Romblon, Mindoro, Iloilo City, and Misamis.
This year, we aim to continue our commitment to championing equality, inclusion, and LGBTQIA+ rights. We are set to mount Pride PH Festival 2023, with the theme, "Pinoy Pride: Karangalan, Karapatan, Kalaayaan". We aim to highlight the important contributions of LGBTQIA+ Filipinos to the country.
