While privilege is intrinsic to the world of collecting art, coming from privilege has been both a challenge and an inspiration to artists coming from wealth. This is seen in the life and careers of three scions who emerged as vanguards of modern Philippine art in the mid-20th century: Fernando Zóbel, Lee Aguinaldo, and Alfonso Ossorio

Ramon (Richie) Lerma, Chairman & Chief Specialist of Salcedo Auctions, and formerly Director & Chief Curator of the Ateneo Art Gallery takes you through the life and times of these three important Filipino artists, with a guided tour of their works which will be offered in Salcedo's upcoming 'Finer Pursuits: Important Philippine Art & Rare Collectibles' auction.
