The City of Long Beach requires residential properties of four or more units to register with their Proactive Rental Housing Inspection Program (PRHIP). AACSC's PRHIP seminar will provide an overview of this program, discuss what are housing inspectors are looking for, as well as the best practices to pass your inspection.
Speakers
Oliver John Baptiste serves as the Operational Advisor for AACSC. Oliver majored in sociology at California State University Long Beach, with experience writing for campus news publications, and department newsletters as well as assisting with graduate-level research projects. Oliver continued his graduate studies in sociology at California State University Dominguez Hills, focusing on quantitative analysis. His thesis, Factoring Socioeconomics and Court-Documented Unlawful Detainers: Urban Housing Sustainability in a Rentership Society analyzes over two-thousand consumer reports from renters living in the cities of Long Beach and Los Angeles.
