Joel Britt South Carolina Ports Authority
Joel Britt South Carolina Ports Authority Joel Britt leads operations at the 8th biggest U.S. container port, ensuring SC Ports deliver highly productive, reliable port service. As the Vice President of Terminal Operations for SC Ports, Mr. Britt leads a team of around 300 people who oversee the efficient operation and management of container terminals, ro-ro, breakbulk, cruise, vessel operations, carrier sales, safety and operator development for the Port of Charleston. Mr. Britt has worked in the maritime industry for more than 20 years. He began his career with APM Terminals and Maersk Line. He joined SC Ports in 2011 as an operations analyst and held various leadership positions in port operations before being named vice president in 2022. In 2024, he was selected as a Logistics Industry Power List honoree by SC Biz News. Mr. Britt is a Charleston native and graduate of Wofford College. He lives in West Ashley and is a proud father to two girls.

Brian McCall Director of Finance and Administration at Palmetto Railways Brian K McCall, Director of Finance and Administration, Palmetto Railways, has been an active member of the Propeller Club Port of Charleston since 2019. He joined the Propeller Club in 2019 and was subsequently appointed Treasurer, a position he still holds. During his tenure, the Propeller Club Port of Charleston hosted numerous successful events including the annual State of the Port address, the Jim Newsome Retirement Celebration and the International Propeller Club Convention in 2023. He converted the manual financial records of the club to online financial records and has streamlined the membership application and payment process. Brian has been on many committees throughout the years and has been diligently committed to ensuring the financial integrity, stability, and transparency of the Propeller Club Port of Charleston. He is very passionate on his involvement in our club and is a valued Board Member that has helped to make our club one of the biggest and most successful clubs in the region and on an international level. Brian and his wife, Danielle, have been married 12 years, and have 1 son, Caleb, who is 10 years old. He resides in North Charleston, SC.
