SEIPI, through its vision and dedication of its members, aims to make the Philippines a globally competitive business environment for semiconductor and electronics technologies. SEIPI GMMs are quarterly gatherings attended by member-companies' CEOs, Presidents, General Managers, Directors, and Executives, as well as the Partners of the Philippine semiconductor and electronics industry. The GMMs provide updates on the latest trends and issues affecting the Philippine electronics industry.


This quarterly event is attended up to 200 member companies' CEOs, Presidents, General Managers, Directors, and Executives, as well as Partners of the Philippine semiconductor and electronics industry from the Government, Academe, Foreign Business Chambers, and Embassies.

Tom Pohlman is the trade and investment officer at the U.S. Embassy in Manila. He and his unit are responsible for coordinating between the governments of the Philippines, the United States, and the private sector on CHIPS/ITSI programming in the Philippines. Prior to joining the Department of State, Tom worked for the Department of Labor as an industry analyst for the electronics industry. Tom is a native of Bataan.

Currently holding the position of Acting Deputy Zone Administrator of the Baguio City Economic Zone, Ms. Mary Jane G. Sanchez brings to the table a wealth of experience and expertise from her 26 years of experience in the realm of business registration, incentives administration, and economic zone operations. Ms. Sanchez’ academic background underscores her commitment to excellence. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from the prestigious University of the Philippines in Diliman, where she honed her skills in service management and organizational leadership. Further augmenting her knowledge base, she pursued a Master’s degree in Government Management from the esteemed Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, refining her understanding of public administration and governance principles. Drawing upon her extensive experience and deep-rooted understanding of regulatory frameworks, Ms. Sanchez has spearheaded initiatives aimed at automating and streamlining processes and enhancing operational efficiency within the economic zone. As an advocate for sustainable economic development, Ms. Sanchez continues to champion initiatives that empower local businesses and attract foreign investments, thereby catalyzing growth and prosperity within the Philippine Economic Zone (PEZA), its host communities, and industry partners.
