As an ESA WorkTech StartUp Advisor there is no obligation beyond offering feedback to mid-stage and late-stage WorkTech StartUp companies who are ready to scale. This is your opportunity to not only know about new Tech before others, but also help accelerate the growth of these StartUp companies by providing targeted feedback on their offering. Being involved can potentially lead to a Start up Advisory Board role for the companies you provide feedback.
We are excited to present two innovative WorkTech companies at our August ESA Startup Advisor session. These companies deliver foundational value, unlocking the potential of people processes and facilitate organizational agility and better decision-making for their customers.
The Cloud Connectors (TCC) specializes in HR data exchange and integration for large employers. They also partner with the multitude of software providers serving HR and WorkTech offering over 270 SmartConnectors. Their Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) is purpose-built for HR delivering fast turn-around and user-friendly error handling. TCC also offers expert professional services for integration. This gives employers confidence that their integrations are effective and reliable.
According to Sapient Insights Group who has surveyed employers about their HR systems for the last 25 years, the average employer (all organizations participating) has over 37 integration touchpoints. This figure is much greater for large employers with an average of over 100 integration touchpoints.
Without a modern approach to HR data integration, organizations risk sub-optimized technology investments resulting in process inefficiencies and data quality issues. This is important because productivity gains go hand-in-hand with process efficiencies, and high-stakes business decision-making requires confidence in data quality.
The double revolution: mastering the AI <> skills flywheel
Filtered is the AI platform to solve Content Chaos. HR is undergoing a period of drastic disruption. In the scramble to understand, derisk and harness the enormous productive power of GenAI, we also need to produce and act on accurate data representations of the skills in our workforces. The spoils of this era will go to those organizations who are able to arrive at the right ideas for the use of GenAI and simultaneously attract or develop the skills to execute on a new generation of products.
However, we are almost held back by data problems. Skill definitions are not up to date. Skills are understood differently across systems. The existing mapping between skills and development opportunities is either lacking or largely inaccurate. Faced with the greatest technological challenge of the 21st century so far, we fall back on 20th century methods.
Filtered is a global leader in AI-powered intelligence technology for skills systems. In this presentation Filtered's CCO, Toby Harris, will explain how the prudent use of AI and GenAI can be harnessed to tackle the skills data challenge. He'll present three use cases to show how AI can be used to 1) generate 83% accurate skill definitions without training on proprietary data, 2) integrate skill data between systems through accurate AI-targeting and 3) generate role-specific upskilling paths.
The format of the meeting is simple. Each startup will have 15 minutes to present followed by a 10-minute facilitated Q&A. Fast paced and exciting!
