COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The Course on Risk Management covers the basic and advanced concepts related to risks, hazards, risk factors, risk treatment, including the relevant tools and techniques. It requires the participants to prepare and present the required matrices or tables and outputs to demonstrate learning.


COURSE OBJECTIVES:

  • Explain the basic concepts and steps of risk management;
  • Explain the importance of risk management to their respective agencies;
  • Identify agency risks;
  • Apply learning on: risk assessment/ identification and risk treatment using a prescribed template;
  • Present outputs.


TARGET PARTICIPANTS:



The webinar is especially designed for government employees from NGAs, GOCCs/GFIs, LGUs and SUCs, particularly those assigned in the internal audit, accounting, finance, treasury, budget, asset management, general services, human resource management, corporate planning, operations systems developers, procurement, legal, etc.


Those in the private sector especially those who have contracts/transactions with government or intend to transact or do business with government are encouraged to attend this training course.
