From January 24, 2022 to November 20, 2022, the United States has given over $48 billion in aid to Ukraine, with 48% of that being military aid, which is $18 billion more than the EU. Following the visit of Ukrainian President Voldymr Zelensky in December 2022, another $47 billion in aid was approved by Congress and signed by President Joe Biden.

Former 17th Supreme Allied Commander Europe at U.S. Air Force (ret.)
General Breedlove is a retired four-star general in the United States Air Force who, among many other assignments served as the 17th Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) of NATO Allied Command Operations, from May 2013 until May 4, 2016. He previously served as the commander of U.S. Air Forces Europe which he concurrently served as commander of U.S. Air Forces Africa, commander of Air Component Command, Ramstein, and director of Joint Air Power Competence Center. For us here in Phoenix we also note General Breedlove did his undergraduate pilot training, at Williams Air Force Base, earned his Master of Science degree in aeronautical technology from Arizona State University and from June 2002 to June 2004, he commanded the 56th Fighter Wing, at Luke Air Force Base.
Robert McConnell is the Co-Founder of the U.S.-Ukraine Foundation and the Director of External Affairs of the Foundation’s Friends of Ukraine Network (FOUN). Among other things McConnell was Assistant Attorney General, United States Department of Justice, in the Reagan Administration, Legislative Assistant to the Honorable John J. Rhodes (R-AZ), Vice President-Washington CBS, and head of Legislative Advocacy for Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. For us here in Phoenix we also note McConnell is a graduate of ASU where he was ASASU President, Founder of Devil’s Advocates and a member of ASU’s Founding Law School class. Robert’s wife and President of the U.S.-Ukraine Foundation is also an ASU graduate, was the Founding President of the Devil’s Advocates, and they are the only married couple to have both been awarded ASU’s Alumni Achievement Award although separately and in different years.
