Kulsoom Meghani is a Commercial Banker in the Commercial & Investment Bank for JP Morgan Chase. She’s been with the firm for 7 years with an extensive background in cash management, liquidity/yield strategy and lending for Middle Market companies. With her passion for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Kulsoom serves on the board for two internal JP Morgan councils, dedicated to opening up tough dialog through conversations. She plans to do the same with her chair position on the South Asian Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time, she is a mom to two British Shorthair cats that she adopted with her husband.
Neha Smith is a Vice President and Banker in the Houston office of J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Neha works closely with a select group of individuals and families to help them establish and build comprehensive wealth plans that align with their needs and goals. She is honored to serve as a personal advocate, giving clients the confidence that they have been heard.
Neha leads with discovery-driven conversations to glean the nuances of each individual’s unique objectives. Whether their priorities are banking, investing, lending or more, she presents strategies that integrate these aspirations. With a two-decade career that began at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, Neha joined Frost Bank, where she led and expanded the Private Banking Group, articulating the team’s mission and establishing best practices. Her return to J.P. Morgan represents a homecoming to her roots—and to the relationships that launched her professional journey. She couples an aptitude for leadership and a collaborative style with the reputation of a global powerhouse.
Neha grew up in Fort Bend County, attending Dulles High School, and then going on to earn a B.B.A from The University of Houston. She has completed advanced educational opportunities which amplify her ability to address the sophisticated needs of high-and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Neha and her husband are raising their son and daughter in Braeswood, and the family of four can often be spotted biking around Brays Bayou on the week-ends. She is a lifetime learner and a passionate runner, completing several half marathons and one full marathon, with a goal to run all the major races in her lifetime. When Neha isn’t spending time with her family, advising clients, or running, she loves to experiment in the kitchen and play with her rescue dog. Neha also dedicates her time and resources to organizations focused on pediatric congenital heart defects and animal rescue.

Fernando directs a team of Investment Specialists to help address the challenges of sophisticated balance sheets. His overarching mission is to provide individuals, family offices and institutions with portfolio strategies and innovative approaches that increase the probability of achieving their meaningful goals.
As Co-Head of the Houston leadership team, Fernando drives business impact and helps expand J.P. Morgan’s visibility in the region. He guides clients in making complex financial decisions that help grow their assets and care for market volatility, risk/return parameters and more. He serves as a mentor and coach, developing a pathway for his team to remain at the forefront of the firm’s intellectual capital.
Fernando has spent his 15-year career at both the International and U.S. Private Bank. His work has taken him to Texas, Florida and New York, experiences that have broadened his perspective on ways to help clients achieve their financial goals. He is known for being a strong leader—transparent, a good listener, and someone who has supported diversity & inclusion efforts and women-focused initiatives at the firm.
Most recently, Fernando led the management and strategic development of Mexico’s Single Coverage Team. Previously, he served as a Global Investment Specialist for clients from Latin America.
Fernando earned a B.S. in International Business in a dual-degree program from the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM) and San Diego State University. He completed the Stanford LEAD Executive Program established by the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He sits on the Regional Economic Development Committee for the Greater Houston Partnership.
Happily married with three children, Fernando likes playing golf, cooking, skiing and traveling. He is a huge sports fan who cheers for the Astros and the other major sports teams in the area.
