Event Details

The recruitment landscape has changed dramatically over the last three years. How we interact with young talent has taken on a whole new complexion. Involving students in internships that provide them with meaningful work exposure, insight into your employer brand proposition, whilst building their skills base is an invaluable attraction tool.

Developing a robust, meaningful, and mutually beneficial internship experience for young talent can be a powerful tool in your attraction mix. The benefits of hiring students from an internship are numerous – not only is an internship like an extended interview that builds connection to you as a potential employer, interns that you convert to hires are better able to hit the road running because they have learned about your culture, how you work and what skills they will need.

In her time at Bowman's Shalin has been instrumental in launching their virtual internship in Kenya and maintaining the success of Bowman's in-person, virtual and remote internships for students. Shalin will share insights and lessons learned on this journey.
