The SASA conference is the flagship South African statistics event for statisticians, analytics experts and data scientists from South Africa and aboard. This is preeminent event on the statistics calendar in South Africa and brings statisticians and data experts from around the country and abroad together to share their research, discuss new ideas and to meet and establish collaboration.

For the SASA 2022 conference SASA is emphasising the home-grown talent, expertise and vast experience held within our local universities, research institutions and industries. SASA 2022 is proud to have our local experts deliver keynote addresses alongside our invited international guests.

SASA 2022 will be held in the beautiful town of George, situated in the middle of the scenic Garden Route. With a backdrop of the Outeniqua Mountains, this will be the first time in SASA's history that our flagship event will be hosted in the region.
