SASA Honours Bursary and Scholarship (Sponsored by SASA, ICCSSA and SASA)
It is with great excitement that the SASA Education Committee hereby announces the 2021 SASA Honours Bursary and Scholarship Competition. This competition is open to all current 3rd year Statistics/Mathematical Statistics students who are planning to enrol for an honours degree in Statistics / Mathematical Statistics at a South African university in 2022.
Three awards will be made:
- A bursary of R28 000 sponsored by SAS, awarded based on academic merit and financial need. Note: this bursary is only available to students from SAS accredited universities.
- A bursary of R13 000 sponsored by ICCSSA, awarded based on academic merit and financial need.
- A scholarship of R13 000, sponsored by SASA, based on academic merit only.
Important note:
- for the application to be considered, the applicant must be a registered SASA member
- SASA membership is free to all full-time students
