The 21st Biennial Congress of the South African Society of Nuclear Medicine (SASNM 2025) will take place at the Premier Hotel, Umhlanga, Durban from 31st July to 02nd August 2025. The theme for the congress is "Patient Centered Precision Care With Pride".
The South African Society of Nuclear Medicine (SASNM) aims to promote the practice and development of nuclear medicine through the accumulation and dissemination of scientific and technical information. At its biennial congress, SASNM offers an educational scientific programme with presentations designed to encourage debate and discussion.
With the theme "Patient Centered Precision Care With Pride", SASNM 2025 will:
•Provide a forum for collaboration among scientists, clinicians, and all professionals with a common interest in the field of nuclear medicine
•Offer the opportunity to engage, contribute, and learn through exceptional programme content delivered by renowned local and international experts
•Deliver an interactive environment with sharing of knowledge and innovative ideas related to nuclear medicine and its translation to clinical care in the South African health sector

Abstract submissions from young professionals including those in training (registrars, physicians, nuclear pharmacists, radiographers or scientists) or in practice within 5 years of graduation are strongly encouraged.
