Rural Resource Coalition of South Carolina (RRCSC) and Growing Local South Carolina are partnering to facilitate a South Carolina Farmland Working Group.
The inaugural meeting will bring together organizations, agencies, and individuals for a structured and facilitated conversation to build relationships and identify opportunities to collaborate to protect South Carolina's farmland.
The goal of this meeting is to increase awareness of existing activities in the state, identify local challenges, and determine if there are opportunities for collaboration to make sure that farmland across the Palmetto State is protected and available for those farmers and businesses who want to support local food production.
